For all of last week, Martin Schoeller was the first of many photographers who will be taking over the New Yorker’s Instagram feed (@newyorkermag). While shooting for the feed, Martin was attending the National Twins Day Festival in Twinsburg, Ohio, capturing the final images for his new book, Identical. Below, we have collected all of his Instagram shots.
For the next week Martin Schoeller will be taking over The New Yorker’s Instagram (@newyorkermag) and he is heading to Twinsburg, Ohio. There, he will be shooting the final images for for his new book, “Identical: Portraits of Twins & Multiples,” at the National Twins Day Festival over the weekend.
Some of the athletes that Martin has shot over the past few years are headed to the Olympics in London next week. Below is a selection of work that appeared in the New Yorker, GQ, ESPN Magazine, Slam Magazine and People.

Last week Martin made his way down to Zuccotti Park in lower Manhattan to shoot the Occupy Wall Street protesters for The New Yorker. While capturing portraits of countless people with their protest signs, he also took voice recordings to document each protester’s individual beliefs. Check out The New Yorker’s blog to see more.
