Recent Work from Gilles & Cecilie Studio

Gilles & Cecilie Studio was recently commissioned by Moleskine to illustrate their store windows for the festive season in London, Milan, Rome, New York, and Shanghai as well as creating 40 different icons for the in-store event Moleskine Impressed. Other new work includes artwork for all communication assets, way-finding, and two large-scale installations for Gave & Interiørmessen, a mega trade show in Lillestrøm, Norway, as well as a project where they re-imagined the Norwegian passport. Gilles & Cecilie’s passport project is now on exhibit at Grafill in downtown Oslo through March 22nd.

Gilles & Cecilie Studio + Gave & Interiørmessen

Gilles & Cecilie Studio specializes in direct brand collaborations, providing artwork for all communication assets including trade show installations and wayfinding.  Below are images from Gave & Interiørmessen, which is the mega trade show in Norway for gifts and interior design.  Gilles & Cecilie designed all materials including the on-site installation. Their goal was to create something bold, colorful, and sophisticated while focusing on Norwegian design classics and natural shapes.

Gilles & Cecilie Studio + Moleskine

Gilles & Cecilie recently created an in-store event with Moleskine that would engage the public to be creative, to inspire, and to participate in making a unique notebook. They created 40 different icons based on Moleskine’s main collections: reading, writing, drawing, and traveling. Gilles & Cecilie Studio + Fredrikstad Animation Festival

Three of Gilles & Cecilies’ animations, Wandoujia “Remix Me” and SWIMS “The Metronome of Walking,” have been selected for this year’s Fredrikstad Animation Festival. The two animation shorts will be on view at the festival beginning November.

Gilles & Cecilie Studio + Visuelt Award

Gilles & Cecilie Studio was recently awarded the Diploma Award for their SWIMS “The Metronome of Walking” ad spot. The Visuelt Awards are hosted by Grafill – The Norwegian Organization for Visual Communication, a non-profit organization for graphic designers, illustrators, animators, cartoonists and interactive designers working within visual communication in Norway.
