Mark Zibert partnered with Innocean Worldwide Canada and effects house, Alter Ego, for a video aimed to inspired Canadians to get active. The video features heart-pounding footage of bikes riding around on their own with the tagline “Hop on”. Be sure to check out a behind the scenes video below.

Mark Zibert + Sportsnet + Melissa Bishop

Mark was commissioned earlier this year by Canadian magazine, Sportsnet, to shoot Canadian athletes for their “Beauty of Sports” 2014 issue. Traversing the northern nation, Mark shot 14 athletes over six-weeks on mountain tops all across Canada.  For this shoot Mark traveled to Ontario to photograph Canadian track and field star Melissa Bishop.

Mark Zibert + JWT Canada + SickKids

Mark teamed up with JWT Canada to direct a TV commercial for “The Hospital for Sick Children – SickKids”  The campaign, titled “Better Tomorrows,” recently launched and is their largest brand campaign to-date.  “It invites audiences to witness several SickKids moments, forcing viewers to come face-to-face with how easily ordinary things that we take for granted can be taken away from us….The campaign includes 42 30-second spots produced for TV. A different spot will air on conventional and specialty TV each day for 42 days beginning today and running through December 22.”

Mark Zibert + Creative Review + Ads of the Week

Mark recently partnered with AMV BBDO and UK’s Department of Transport for a “THINK!” campaign spot.  The clip commemorates 50 years of anti-drinking driving ads in the UK however lamenting the continued fatalities from this avoidable threat.  The film was featured on Creative Review’s “Ads of the Week.” Creative direction by Steve Jones and Martin Loraine.

Mark Zibert + Sportsnet + Meghan Agosta-Marciano

Mark was recently commissioned by Canadian magazine, Sportsnet, to shoot Canadian athletes for their “Beauty of Sports” 2014 issue. Traversing the northern nation, Mark shot 14 athletes over six-weeks on mountain tops all across Canada.  For this shoot, Mark and his crew headed to Golden, British Colombia to photograph Meghan Agosta-Marciano, forward for the Montreal Stars from the Canadian Women’s Hockey League; she also plays for the Canadian women’s national ice hockey team.

Mark Zibert + Graphis + 2015 Photo Annual

Mark’s work was recently featured in Graphis’ 2015 Photo Annual Submission Spotlight. On the left below, Mark photographed Canadian author, poet and environmental activist, Margaret Atwood,  for Bullett Magazine which, he submitted to this year’s Photo Annual. On the right is an image from “Luck,” which Mark shot for Applied Arts Magazine. The series received a Gold award in the 2013 Photography Annual and was used on the cover.

Mark Zibert + Sportsnet + Kirsten Moore-Towers

Mark was recently commissioned by Canadian magazine, Sportsnet, to shoot Canadian athletes for their “Beauty of Sports” 2014 issue. Traversing the northern nation, Mark shot 14 athletes over six-weeks on mountain tops all across Canada.  For this shoot, Mark captured Canadian figure skater Kristen Moore-Towers. Moore-Towers won a silver medal at the 2014 Olympic games in Sochi.

Mark Zibert + Sportsnet + Evander Kane

Mark was recently commissioned by Canadian magazine, Sportsnet, to shoot Canadian athletes for their “Beauty of Sports” 2014 issue. Traversing the northern nation, Mark shot 14 athletes over six-weeks on mountain tops all across Canada.  The second professional hockey player that Mark photographed was Evander Kane, left-winger for the Winnipeg Jets.  Evander was shot in Stanley Park in Vancouver, BC.
